The brief
A product problem worth solving.
Turn a single piece of raw input, typed text, a spoken recording, or a photo, into a finished illustrated story, while keeping the pipeline safe to run unattended: content moderation, language detection, and account-level privacy controls all had to hold up without a human reviewing every submission.
The work
Built as a system, not just a surface.
I built the full-stack product on Next.js and Payload CMS, with async job workflows handling transcription, language detection, moderation, and illustration generation from text, audio, or selfie input. The platform includes author profiles, a public story library, comments and ratings, per-story privacy controls, and account tools like data export and deletion.
The result
A live, useful product.
StoryCraft is a public codebase demonstrating a complete AI content pipeline: from raw input through moderation to a published, shareable illustrated story. It is currently being rebuilt from the ground up.
