Privacy-first drawing tool
Draw
An anonymous browser drawing app that encodes sketches into a shareable URL instead of requiring an account or storing documents on a server.
The brief
A product problem worth solving.
Make lightweight visual collaboration as frictionless as sending a link, while avoiding the usual trade-off of collecting user data or building a document-storage backend.
The work
Built as a system, not just a surface.
I built the editor as a canvas-first Next.js application with a hand-drawn visual language, pan and zoom, freehand drawing, shapes, text, and SVG export. Sketch state is compressed into the URL, so a shared link carries the drawing itself. The application is multilingual and deployed to Cloudflare through OpenNext.
The result
A live, useful product.
A live, public tool and codebase that demonstrates a deliberate privacy architecture: useful collaboration without accounts, cookies, or server-side document persistence.
